Durga came to our hostel facility in 2017 when she was five years old. Durga’s father and mother passed away due to a stomach infection and an intestinal infection respectively before she turned three. Since then, she had been living at her relative's house with minimal care. She comes from a village in Accham district which can be reached in a day on foot from our school’s location. She is happy to be at our hostel facility and is doing well.
